Terms of Service

Deshi Mate — Japanese learning app by Void Realm Solutions.
Effective date: 3 September 2026.

1. Agreement

By creating an account or using Deshi Mate (the "app") you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age in your country) to use Deshi Mate.

2. Your account

You need an account to use the app so that your progress can be saved and synced. Keep your password secure and do not share your account. You are responsible for activity on your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings; deletion is permanent and your progress cannot be restored.

3. Acceptable use

Do not attempt to interfere with the service, access other users' data, reverse-engineer the sync protocol, use automated tools to create accounts or generate traffic, or use the app for anything unlawful. We may suspend or delete accounts that break these rules or abuse the service.

4. Content and intellectual property

The app, its games, artwork, and learning content are owned by Void Realm Solutions or its licensors and are provided for your personal, non-commercial use. Study progress you generate belongs to you; you grant us the right to store and process it to provide the service.

5. Availability and changes

Deshi Mate is under active development. We may add, change, or remove features, content, and the sync service, and may release updates that require you to update the app to keep syncing. We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, and we may discontinue the service with reasonable notice.

6. Learning outcomes

Deshi Mate is a study aid. We make no promise about exam results or language proficiency.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Void Realm Solutions is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or progress, arising from your use of the app. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under the law of your country.

8. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced in the app and the effective date updated. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
